Sextortion! (That got your attention didn’t it)
Unfortunately, this is a new form of email scam to reach our attention and although this may be humorous to some it isn’t something to be taken lightly. Anyone receiving this email could easily be intimidated by the aggressive nature and intimidation present within this email. This is a blatant example of cyber blackmail with the intention to scare the receiver into sending them money.
The email reads as follows:
Subject: Name – Password
I am well aware password one of your password. Lets get straight to purpose. absolutely no one has paid me to check you. You do not know me and you are probably thinking why you’re getting this email?|You may not know me and you’re most likely wondering why you are getting this e-mail? No-one has paid me to investigate you.}
in fact, i placed a malware on the 18+ videos (sex sites) web site and you know what, you visited this website to experience fun (you know what i mean). When you were watching videos, your internet browser started operating as a Remote control Desktop that has a keylogger which provided me with accessibility to your display as well as web cam. Just after that, my software collected your entire contacts from your Messenger, social networks, as well as e-mail . after that i created a double video. 1st part displays the video you were watching (you have a good taste haha . . .), and 2nd part displays the view of your webcam, and it is you.
You will have two different possibilities. Why dont we review these choices in aspects:
1st solution is to neglect this e-mail. in this case, i am going to send out your actual video recording to each one of your contacts and then just consider about the disgrace you feel. or if you happen to be in a romantic relationship, just how it will affect?
in the second place option is to compensate me $3000. i will call it a donation. in this situation, i will without delay eliminate your video recording. You can keep daily life like this never occurred and you would never hear back again from me.
You will make the payment via Bitcoin (if you don’t know this, search ‘how to buy bitcoin’ in Google).
BTC address to send to: (Details removed)
[case-sensitive so copy & paste it]
if you have been planning on going to the cops, okay, this e-mail can not be traced back to me. i have taken care of my steps. i am just not looking to charge a fee a lot, i want to be rewarded. You now have one day to make the payment. i have a special pixel in this e-mail, and at this moment i know that you have read through this email message. if i do not receive the BitCoins, i will send out your video to all of your contacts including close relatives, co-workers, and so on. Nonetheless, if i receive the payment, i will destroy the video immediately. it is a nonnegotiable offer thus please don’t waste my time & yours by replying to this message. if you want to have proof, reply with Yeah! and i will send your video recording to your 11 contacts.
